Katelyn and Nick wanted to go on an adventure for their engagement photos so we drove up to Yellow Springs. Ohio. Leaving Cincinnati there was about a 99% chance of rain but we thought, “why not?” The sky was black and Katelyn called to let us know her window broke on the way up and Nick – being the kind soul that he is – sat by the window and was soaking wet. True to their personalities they just laughed it off and counted it as another adventure.
We decided to keep going and meet at Yellow Springs Brewery instead of the park where we had planned. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot at the brewery the sky cleared and the sun came out with the most gorgeous light 3 o’clock has ever seen. We decided to run to the park and get photos there before the rain came back. We had an awesome time hiking and wading through creeks, only getting wet again on the way back to the cars. We had so much fun spending the day with Katelyn and Nick and they introduced us to one of our new favorite beers from Yellow Springs Brewery. We left with some of our favorite images and two new friends whose wedding we can’t wait for next year!
